We aim to deliver top-tier heat pump repairs while helping customers reduce their home’s carbon footprint. We also work with homeowners to make sure they claim the rebates they’re owed.
Founded in 2017, Net Zero was built to bridge a growing disconnect between what clean-energy-minded homeowners wanted and what HVAC contractors in Billerica offered.
Thanks to over 30 years of hands-on HVAC experience, our owner recognized that modern comfort required a different mindset. One that he’d earned in the solar industry. That perspective guides our design and installation principles.
We focus on doing things the right way, not the rushed way. We do things thoughtfully and always consider the long term impacts of our heat pump and furnace work.

Finance a Greener FutureWhy We’re a Big Proponent of Heat Pumps
Heat pumps fit naturally with how Net Zero approaches comfort and efficiency. They allow homeowners in Billerica to climatize their homes with less waste and more flexibility than many traditional systems.
Our support comes from experience. Decades in HVAC and time in the solar industry showed us how electrification and high-efficiency heat pumps work together.
Modern heat pumps are proven to last. Most systems run 15 to 20 years when installed and maintained properly. They also operate at three to four times the efficiency of many conventional HVAC systems. This leads to meaningful energy savings over time.
Cold weather is no longer a barrier. Today’s heat pumps are designed to operate well below freezing. In many homes, they can serve as a reliable primary heating source throughout winter.
When supported correctly, heat pumps offer a smart, future-ready way to stay comfortable year-round. It’s no wonder they’re becoming popular throughout Middlesex County.
